This Chrome 36 Horse Doghouse Style VW Fan Shroud without Ducts features 9 internal air directional baffles. With an Air-Cooled Volkswagen Engine, you're going to need this part! In a "Doghouse Style" Shroud, the Oil Cooler sits behind the shroud and is offset from the fan in it's own compartment. The fan pulls in air while the shroud creates a channeling effect to disperse it towards the oil cooler, cylinder heads, pistons & cylinders. If you are eliminating heater boxes and opting to install J-tubes this fan shroud eliminates the air ducts for a cleaner look.
